Description

We are looking for an experienced e-Learning Developer with a web/software background. Working as part of a project team and in close collaboration with a mix of internal clients, academics and other media specialists, you will play a key role in developing client websites and OU distance learning materials for delivery online.

You will work as part of a creative client-facing team, tackling a variety of projects from specification and design, through production and testing, to rollout and maintenance.

You must be educated to degree (or equivalent) level, ideally in a technical computing subject. Skills must include PHP, XML/XSLT, CSS, XHTML, Flash ActionScripting and JavaScript. Additional experience of web applications such as Drupal and Moodle would be an advantage, as would familiarity with designing learning materials. Good personal organisational and interpersonal skills are essential, and you should be able to demonstrate a creative but pragmatic approach to delivering the right solution within defined project parameters.
