Requirements
We are looking for a new colleague who shares our creativity, energy and ambition as well as our passion for equality and diversity. We wish to appoint a learning designer to specify and develop high quality distance learning courses in a range of media across a variety of academic fields.

You will be responsible for ensuring that our distance learning courses are pedagogically sound and that they make appropriate use of different media (including print and online), based on the needs of learners and the aims of particular courses. You will produce detailed design documents, you will develop some of the learning materials, and you will review others’ courses to ensure they meet our standards.

You will be degree-educated, with a postgraduate qualification in an education-related subject or equivalent experience. You will have developed materials for distance learning courses – print-based or electronic – and you will be familiar with e-learning and principles of instructional design.
